Most silver lacquer BD-Rs will work with screen printers and thermal ribbon printers like the Rimage Prism, but will not work with thermal retransfer printers like the Rimage Everest.

Silver lacquer discs are ideal for customers who want to use a screen printer, compatible thermal printer or adhesive labels. Unlike branded discs, silver lacquer discs are great for paper labels. The adhesive sticks firmly and holds to the silver top surface, and there's no label or logo that could possibly show through the paper.
