The Rimage Prism Plus Autoprinter is a rock solid machine, perfect for clean, crisp and cost effective printing on CDs and DVDs. The Prism Plus delivers the lowest cost per disc of any cd or dvd printer, and if you print less than a full disc image your cost per print will go down even lower. The Prism Plus features a ribbon-saver feature, where the printer only uses the amount of ribbon your print requires. So if you are only printing one line of text on a disc your ribbon could last for up to 7000 discs!

The Prism Plus Autoprinter also comes with Rimage's very cool Perfect Print feature, where you can pre-silk screen on your disc and then use the Prism Plus Autoprinter to add text to the artwork. All that is required is placement of a simple hash-mark on the disc, and the Autoprinter will align the disc correctly for printing serial numbers, custom disc info or current version data.

AutoPrinters come equipped with a 400-bin carousel. This carousel has a 300 disc input capacity with the remaining bin used for output. When the first input bin is empty it becomes the second output bin, and so on. In this manner, an AutoPrinter can print up to 300 discs without a single operator intervention.

AutoPrinters come with Rimage's state of the art Producer series robotics. These robotics are driven by a closed loop servo motor system and a reinforced, toothed belt. The picker rides on roller bearings and slide rails and takes only 2 seconds per movement. The picker is steel and will pick from a plane of 85° - 95°.

Both AutoPrinters come with CD Designer, software to create the artwork for your discs and to drive the printer. CD Designer has a complete set of file import capabilities, text creation capabilities, object creation tools, bar code generation and more.

Rapid Exchange
A Rapid Exchange contract offers you your own "spare system." If equipment problems cannot be resolved over the phone, a replacement unit will arrive the next business day (if it is ordered before 2:00 PM Central Time). You keep the replacement unit and return the malfunctioning system to Rimage within 5 business days. This agreement includes all non-consumable parts and labor. Includes software updates and business hours phone support.
